By installing a Invertek Green Energy OZ Variable  Drive  there will be a small impact on waterflow, but not one that will adversely affect the pool turnover rate.  In fact, by installing a Invertek Green Energy OZ Variable speed Drive your pump will work the way it was designed to.  A slower flow rate reduces water flow resistance and adds to improving filtration efficiency, resulting in crisper water.  The GEO team work with our clients to ensure that the pools operations are not impacted, whilst at the same time saving on power consumption and therefore costs.  Pool features such as fountains and waterfalls will continue to work in exactly the same way.

Businesses are charged electricity based upon the KwH consumed from their electricity supplier.  By installing a Invertek Green Energy OZ variable speed Drive, this power consumption is reduced by ensuring that your pool pump only uses the power it needs to operate at its optimum level.  This reduction in power consumption translates directly into lower power bills.

Prior to installing a Invertek Green Energy OZ Variable Speed Drive, will install a data logger on to your pool pump and measure the power consumption (kWh).  This is the base line for that pump.  After installation the data logger will remain installed and measure the kWh consumed with the Invertek Energy working.  This difference between the two readings is the verified power consumption as a result of installing the Invertek Green Energy OZ Variable Speed Drive.

For all installations, will install a energy tracker on the pool pump that our  Invertek Green Energy OZ Variable Speed Drive  is connected to.  This will accurately measures the power consumption in kilowatt hours (kWh) that the pool pump is using.  This data is provided at the end of each month but can also be accessed in real time through Invertek  Green Energy Variable Speed Drive.

Whilst the data loggers are primarily used to measure the power consumption of the pool pumps, they can be installed on any circuit.  Clients have used this tool to confirm the accuracy of their power bills, or to even assist in allocating power costs between share offices or where separate businesses may use a single power meter.

Yes it will – in a positive way.  By installing a Invertek Green Energy Variable Speed Drive your pool pump will work the way it was intended, meaning improved filtration efficiency and cleaner, crisper water.

It can, however it must be remembered that every pump is different, even if they are the same size and manufacturer.  Before installing a Invertek Green Energy OZ Variable Speed Drive on multiple pumps, the GEO team will work with your operations team to understand how best to install the Green Energy so as to gain the greatest power savings without comprising on the clients operations.

In 99% of the cases, any deterioration in water quality is a result of 1, or sometimes both, elements.

The Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive comes with pump protection features. If the Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive detects a fault within the power supply – such as a dropped phase – then the Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive will stop the supply of power to the pump in order to protect the pump from damage. Where this happens, clients should request assistance from GEO to investigate the reason for the shutdown and address the potential harmful cause rather than requesting to bypass the Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive, as ultimately without the protection of the Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive you are risking more damage to your pump, which will potentially lead to higher costs.

No, in fact by installing a Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive it will help reduce maintenance costs. By placing less stress on the motor there is less vibration, less cavitation and less back pressure on the motor resulting in the motor running cooler.

Added to that, the GEO team have been working with pool pumps for over 12 years, so know how best to install and program the Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive in order for you to maximise your savings whilst not compromising on performance.

Every pump is different, so predicting exact savings until the Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive is installed is hard . In general, GEO won’t recommend the installation of a Invertek Green Energy OZ Drive unless it can demonstrate a greater than 40% power saving for a single phase motor and 50% power savings for a 3 phase motor.
